How it works

Why a group about anger?

Anger is a normal, healthy feeling. It often sits on top of hurt, fear, grief or exhaustion, and it can be hard to talk about without feeling judged. A group is a place to talk about what sets it off, what's underneath it, and what helps you stay steady, with people who get it.

Signs anger may be becoming a problem

For information only, not for diagnosing. Anger on its own isn't a mental illness, and this list isn't a diagnosis. Lasting anger can sometimes go with depression, anxiety, trauma or other conditions, which only a doctor or mental health professional can diagnose. If anger is hurting you or the people around you, a doctor or counsellor can help, and if anyone is in danger, call 911 (US) or 999 (UK).

Heal Kinder is peer support: people who've been there, listening and sharing. Many members find it a real help alongside any care they already have, though it isn't therapy or a crisis service. If you are in danger, call 911. In the US you can call or text 988 any time. Outside the US, call your local emergency number (Samaritans 116 123 in the UK).
